Then, Nine's decision desk has data experts ready to pass the word on to the broadcast teams.

Liz Daniels takes Nine viewers behind the scenes of the 2025 federal election coverage.

These expert analysts will help us call the seats, and will ultimately call the results of the entire election.

Nine will have political editor Charles Croucher, and National Affairs Editor Andrew Probyn providing analysis as the count comes in.

Labor's Katy Gallagher and Chris Bowen will join the panel later on.

Former Liberal Defence Minister Christopher Pyne, and Nationals Senator Bridget McKenzie will also lend their analysis tonight.

"I think there'll be some parties coming back from the dead, and I think there'll be some parties that were are seen to be the coming thing that are not going to do as well tonight," Pyne said.

Bridget Mackenzie said the election will be a "a report card for a government that's failed Australians badly."
