Second truck in two days slams into notorious Melbourne bridge

The removalist truck hit the bridge just before 8.30am, getting stuck underneath it and blocking a lane of traffic.

Another truck has slammed into the Montague Street Bridge in Melbourne.

The removalist truck hit the bridge just before 8.30am, getting stuck underneath it and blocking a lane of traffic.

It is the second vehicle to get stuck under the bypass in two days.

The railway bridge in South Bank is known for its low clearance, as many drivers try and chance it but end up getting stuck.

One lane of traffic remains closed as crews try and free the truck.
