The move has attracted criticism online from some Everyday Extra members.
Woolworths has announced it will remove a popular benefit from its Everyday Rewards program next month.
The supermarket giant will remove the monthly Big W 10 per cent off discount from the subscription-based Everyday Extra program on Sunday, June 1.
A spokesperson for Woolworths, the parent company of Big W, said the decision to remove the monthly benefit would allow the department store chain to keep prices low.

"Over the past few years, BIG W has been focused on delivering more value to customers every day, reducing prices on thousands of products across their range and keeping prices down," the spokesperson said.
"For example, 80 per cent of BIG W's clothing range is now under $20 and 50 per cent of BIG W's home range is under $20.
"In order to continue to keep prices low for every shop at BIG W, we have made the decision to remove the monthly 10 per cent Everyday Extra discount when subscribers shop at BIG W."

The move has attracted criticism online from some Everyday Extra members.
"For the cost of the annual fee, it's starting to lose its appeal," one customer said.
"I was only thinking of staying with Woolies because we got the monthly discount at Big W," another customer said.
The company will introduce subscriber-only monthly deals at Big W as an alternative.
"We will also continue to evolve the Everyday Extra program to give members new opportunities to earn and save," the spokesperson said.
"Everyday Extra still provides great value to subscribers, with 10 per cent off one shop a month at Woolworths Supermarkets and 2x Everyday Rewards points on every shop at both Woolworths and BIG W, helping members save up to $50 a month for a monthly subscription fee of $7.
"If any subscribers would like to cancel their subscription as a result of this change, they can do so via the Everyday Rewards app or by contacting our customer service team."
Back in 2023, Woolworths backflipped on a decision to limit the monthly discount for Everyday Extra subscribers to in-store shoppers only after customer backlash.
